Intense Energy

This was an intense day on the seacoast of Maine, USA. The wind was very strong, the water was crashing against the jetti and soaring many feet into the air.

I really enjoyed painting these flowers.

The colors are so wonderful and the cascade of red flowers

just felt so natural.

Having the background reflect the colors of the flowers

almost makes it seem like they absorbed their color from all around them.

I was inspired to paint this for a magazine cover.

The woman walking along the path is being supported by nature and

all the colors of the rainbow to reach her destination.

Her white dress is the symbol of her accepting all the colors and thier support.
